Anchored in Hesed
The love that does not let go, and what it means to be rooted in it.
Anchored in Hesed
The Hebrew word hesed describes a covenant love that endures, a love that does not let go. As you sit with Psalm 136 today, notice the refrain that returns in every single verse.
That repetition is not an accident. It is an invitation to let one truth sink deep: His love endures.
Ask the Lord to root you, this morning, in a love you did not earn and cannot lose. Read Lamentations 3:22-23 slowly and thank Him that His mercies are new today.
Reflect
- Where are you tempted to believe God's love depends on your performance?
- What would change today if you walked anchored in hesed?
